Toy Project - Selections
Your challenge is to create an image with yourself, a toy prop and background. Work with your group to photograph yourself. Think about how you will position yourself in the composition. You will need to take a photograph of a toy prop that you will interact with. You can use an image from the internet for your background. You will need to match the perspective and lighting in all three photographs.

Photoshop Steps
Use the Quick Selection tool to remove the background on your photograph and the photograph of the toy. Use the move tool to place them in the same image. Crop your project to 11 x 8.5 res 150. Find a high resolution image from the internet to use as a background. Crop the image from the internet and paste it into your project.

How to Create a shadow in Photoshop - the example is 7 minutes into the video.
Go to fx in the layers pallet > select drop shadow > ok. Right click on the drop shadow layer and select create layer. Select the new layer. Edit > Transform > Distort. Select the top middle box and drag to the desired location then push return. Lower the layers opacity in the layers pallet. Blur the layer – Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur – enter the desired amount.
